Membership is open to individuals and families who support the purpose of the organization and agree to abide by the Club’s Code of Ethics. We will welcome registered & insured ATVs, UTVs, SxS's, dirt & dual use bikes on our trails which are in the process of development and will open in the near future

Central Oswego County Riders Code of Ethics
- Respect for Nature and Environment: Members shall always respect the natural environment, avoiding damage to trails, wildlife, waterways, and vegetation. We commit to leaving no trace and preserving the beauty of the outdoors.
- Safety First: Safety is our top priority. Members must wear appropriate safety gear, follow all safety guidelines, and ensure their ATV is in good working condition. We pledge to ride responsibly and avoid risky behaviors.
- Courtesy and Respect: We treat fellow riders, landowners and others with courtesy and respect. Members shall be considerate of others, yielding the trail when necessary and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Time and Talent: Members shall do their best to support Central Oswego County Riders Club by attending meetings, work days, fundraising or soliciting new members to make the Club the best it can be.
- Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Members must follow all local, state, and federal laws for ATV use. We will stay informed about legal requirements to ensure our activities are lawful. Vehicle registration (if eligible) and insurance are mandatory. Loud or modified pipes are strictly prohibited. Follow speed limits and never operate a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Community Engagement: We actively participate in community events and initiatives, promoting the positive image of ATV riding. Members shall support local businesses and contribute to the well-being of the community.
- Education and Training: Continuous learning is essential. Members shall seek out opportunities for education and training to improve their riding skills and knowledge about ATV safety and environmental stewardship.
- Integrity and Honesty: We uphold the highest standards of integrity and honesty in all our actions. Members shall be truthful, transparent, and accountable, fostering trust within the club and with the public.
- Responsibility and Accountability: Members are responsible for their actions and the impact they have on the environment and community. We pledge to take accountability for our behavior and strive to be positive role models.
